The Person: The Senior Consultant, US Partners will be an intelligent, highly energetic self-starter with excellent communication skills, strengths of conviction, high level of autonomy, US mobility, flexibility and structured mindset.
The Role: Acting as the Consulting Lead for North America, right arm of the Project Director, WW Partners, he/she will be responsible for both pre-sales and post sales activities for the Business Development in NA with the objective to rapidly take increased management responsibilities in the short-term while the BD NA team and activity grows.
In terms of pre-sales, the Key focus of the position is to support BD sales staff (3 sales in NA) in progressing sales processes through the various technical steps and to perform the work for pilot engagements, ensuring that the right technical staff delivers convincing Technical and Business outputs that would be well deployed later on in post-sales.
In terms of Post Sales, the key focus of the position is to follow the CAST implementation methodology to deliver value to customers and enable them to become self-sufficient in the use of CAST products. The Senior Consultant will Track the deployment actions and directly deliver training, support, change management, coordination of other consultants.
The Senior Consultant will aaddress a wide range of profiles in Partner’s organization (architects, managers, executives, Cx0) and will also be a key evangelizer of the “Software Analysis and Measurement” Market that CAST Leads.
In terms of Management, the Senior Consultant - once trained on CAST product and methodology - will own NA Partners technical relationship and will coordinate the consulting activities with other non-BD dedicated consultants assigned by CAST US where needed. Progressively the Senior Consultant will be directly leading the other management activities as well: SOW & Plannings definition, Execution Tracking, Team building, Partners Change management. The Project Director – WW Partners will coach the Senior Consultant where required in that path.
Requirements: The preferred candidate will have experience with developing applications and the system development life cycle (SDLC) in a project management, consulting, pre-sales or similar role, and be fully conversant with and experienced in at least one recognized sales methodology, ideally Solution Selling©. Ideally, the candidate shall have the below skills in his profile:
- Minimum 5 years experience in technical functions (Developer, System Analyst, Architect, Technical Manager)
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages (JAVA, C++, .Net…) & Main RDBMS
- The candidate must have proven track record of managing software projects in either enterprise software or SI environment, or both. Ideally the candidate will also have a strong experience of managing the deployment of complex software solutions inside an organization (enterprise or SI).
- Ability to evangelize, convince and drive customers within large scale initiatives, strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to deliver Sales pitches mixed technology, Business and Market education. An experience in successful pre-sales support would be valuable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills, and ability to interface to senior levels of an organization are required.
- Highly motivated, hands on personality.
- Ability to multitask and work independently toward stated business goals.
- Solid knowledge of System Development Life Cycle concepts and software development iterative and non-iterative development models (Agile, Iterative, waterfall...). Familiarity with the CMMI model is a plus
- Bachelors Degree required (technical major desirable); Masters Degree a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed throughout the US and Canada (up to 50%)
- Ability and willingness in taking the Management position in the short/mid-term.
Compensation: Commensurate with prior experience, a base salary and highly competitive on-target earnings bonus will be offered. The variable portion of the compensation will include semester and annual MBO elements. Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k).
